Career & Market Insight

This is a short-term (3-month), project-based contract role — ideal for early-career educators, freelance instructors, or creative professionals looking to build teaching credentials in the edtech space. It is not a path to long-term employment at iSchool based on this posting alone.

Skills you'll develop or reinforce:

  • Instructional design and curriculum delivery for youth learners (ages 6–18)
  • Hands-on proficiency across a diverse toolset: Figma, Blender, Unity, CapCut, Inkscape — all in-demand skills in the creative and game dev industries
  • Mentoring, classroom management (virtual), and project-based pedagogy

Green flags: The role covers a genuinely broad creative stack — from UX/design tools (Figma, Canva) to 3D/game dev (Blender, Unity) — which means your portfolio of teachable skills will expand. A Certificate of Experience is offered, which can support freelance instructor profiles on platforms like Outschool, Coursera, or Udemy.

Red flags / watch-outs:

  • Salary is undisclosed — negotiate before committing, especially given the multi-tool expertise required.
  • The role covers an unusually wide scope (design, animation, video editing, and 3D/game dev) for a single instructor. Confirm session load and prep expectations.
  • No mention of benefits beyond flexible hours — not suitable as a primary career move without other income streams.

Best suited for freelancers, recent graduates, or creative professionals who want edtech experience on their CV and are comfortable with Egyptian-headquartered startups.
