Digital CS Campaign Manager at 1Password | SaaS Growth in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Company Trajectory & Stability: 1Password crossed $400M ARR and has appeared on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four consecutive years. This is a well-funded, scaling cybersecurity company — not an early-stage startup with existential risk, but still fast-moving enough to offer real ownership and impact.
Compensation vs. Market: The US range of $96K–$134K for a Campaign/Digital CS Manager role is competitive but not top-of-market for senior SaaS lifecycle roles in high-cost metros (where $130K–$160K+ is common). The equity (RSUs) and 401k match meaningfully supplement the base, and the range has reasonable upside for mid-senior candidates.
Skills You'll Build: This role develops a highly marketable combination:
- Lifecycle and PLG (Product-Led Growth) program ownership in a B2B SaaS context
- Hands-on experience with Gainsight and Salesforce — both dominant in enterprise CS tech stacks
- AI-augmented campaign operations — increasingly required across growth and CS roles
- Cross-functional program management spanning CS, Product, and Marketing
Culture Signals: The posting is notably candid — it explicitly states "1Password is not for everyone" and warns against those seeking a "comfortable routine." This is a green flag for self-starters and a red flag for those needing structured guidance. The emphasis on AI adoption as a core expectation (not optional) signals a forward-leaning team.
Career Path: This role sits under a Senior Manager, suggesting a defined management layer above it. Strong performers could grow into Senior Campaign Manager, Head of Digital CS, or transition into CS Operations or Growth Marketing leadership within 2–3 years.
1Password is growing. We've surpassed $400M in ARR and we're continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
