SMB AE at CoderPad – €100k OTE SaaS Sales Career in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Career trajectory: This is a classic SMB Account Executive role — an excellent launchpad for those 1–3 years into their sales career looking to sharpen high-velocity closing skills. Success here builds a strong foundation for moving up to Mid-Market or Enterprise AE roles at CoderPad or elsewhere.
Compensation vs. market: OTE of €90k–€100k for an SMB AE with 1–3 years of experience is above average for Ireland, where SMB AE OTEs typically range €60k–€85k. This is a competitive package, particularly for early-career sales professionals.
Skills developed:
- High-velocity sales motion (short cycles, high volume) — highly transferable to SaaS broadly
- Salesforce CRM proficiency and pipeline discipline
- Outbound prospecting and inbound conversion
- Bilingual selling (English + French) — valuable across EMEA sales teams
Green flags: CoderPad is the global leader in technical interviews with 4,000+ customers — a strong brand for your resume. The structured 4-stage hiring process signals an organized company. Reporting directly to an EMEA Sales Manager means mentorship is available.
Potential red flags: Monthly targets and high account volume can indicate a demanding quota environment. The role requires resilience at pace — important to clarify ramp time and quota attainment rates during interviews.
We are looking for a Commercial Account Executive – SMB to join our EMEA Sales team in Ireland (remote).
