Career & Market Insight

Career Trajectory: This is a C-suite-adjacent role — VP of Sales for an entire region at one of adtech's fastest-growing DSPs. For a senior sales leader in programmatic advertising, this represents a clear path toward CRO or GM of APAC responsibilities, especially as StackAdapt continues expanding globally.

Compensation vs. Market: The SGD 263K–395K base (plus bonuses, commissions, and equity) is highly competitive for a regional VP of Sales in APAC adtech. Most comparable roles at DSPs or ad exchanges in Singapore and Australia fall in the SGD 180K–280K base range. The commission component could push total compensation significantly higher, making this an above-market opportunity.

Skills You'll Develop:

  • Multi-market P&L ownership across diverse regulatory and cultural environments
  • HoldCo and enterprise sales strategy — highly transferable to any major tech platform
  • Cross-functional executive leadership bridging product, marketing, and revenue ops
  • AI-driven ad platform expertise — a growing and in-demand specialization

Green Flags: StackAdapt is award-winning (#1 DSP on G2), has a strong culture reputation, and offers genuine equity upside. The remote-first structure with regional hubs suggests a mature, trust-based culture rather than micromanagement.

Watch For: APAC sales leadership at this level can involve significant travel across 4+ markets. Candidates should confirm team size, current revenue run rate, and existing pipeline maturity in the interview process to gauge what "growth" truly requires. No prior APAC leadership bench may mean building from scratch.
