Career & Market Insight

This SDR role at Doximity/Curative sits at the entry-to-mid point of a B2B SaaS sales career path. With only 1 year of experience required, it's an accessible entry point into healthcare tech sales — a growing niche as clinical AI platforms expand.

Compensation context: The $85,000–$95,000 total package (likely base + variable) is competitive for an SDR role. Industry benchmarks typically put SDR total comp at $60,000–$80,000 nationally, so this offering sits above average — reflecting Doximity's position as a profitable, publicly traded company.

Skills you'll develop:

  • Proficiency in the modern sales stack: Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Cold-calling and multi-channel outbound prospecting
  • Territory management and pipeline metrics
  • Healthcare industry knowledge — a differentiating specialization

Green flags: A clearly articulated promotion path to Business Development Representative is a strong signal of internal mobility. Doximity is an established, profitable public company — not a cash-burning startup — offering relative job stability. The mention of mentorship suggests structured onboarding.

Watch for: SDR roles with monthly quotas can be high-pressure. "Sense of urgency" in the qualifications signals a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Make sure the quota expectations and ramp timeline are discussed clearly during interviews.

Overall, this is a strong launchpad role for someone targeting a full-cycle B2B sales career in healthcare technology.
