Product Enablement Specialist at TRACTIAN | SaaS in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Role Overview & Market Position: The Product Content Specialist role sits at the intersection of product marketing, instructional design, and video production — a niche but increasingly valued skill set in B2B SaaS. Demand for product enablement specialists has grown significantly as SaaS companies scale and need to drive feature adoption efficiently.
Compensation Context: No salary is listed. For a role of this seniority (3+ years) at a high-growth B2B SaaS startup, market rates in the US typically range from $70,000–$100,000/year. In Brazil or for remote candidates in lower cost-of-living markets, compensation may be adjusted accordingly. Candidates should benchmark carefully during negotiation.
Skills You'll Build:
- End-to-end product video production (scripting → voiceover → editing) — highly portable and in demand
- In-app product tour design via Intercom and Arcade — niche tools with growing adoption
- Go-to-market enablement strategy for SaaS feature launches
- AI prompt engineering as a bonus — forward-looking skill with broad applicability
Green Flags: TRACTIAN is a well-funded industrial AI/IoT startup with strong growth momentum. The role touches many teams, offering broad exposure. The emphasis on content quality and ownership signals a culture that values craftsmanship.
Yellow Flags: No mention of benefits, PTO, or compensation transparency. "Fast-paced, high-growth" language and "minimal oversight" expectations suggest a demanding startup environment. Candidates should probe for team size, launch cadence, and work-life balance norms during interviews.

- Translate product requirements, technical specifications, and engineering context into clear narratives and actionable enablement materials.
- Create high-quality product launch and feature content end-to-end, including scripting (launch videos, guided demos, and feature explanations), capturing product screens and building realistic demos, producing voiceovers, editing videos, and developing visual assets that clearly showcase functionality and value.
- Adapt launches into multiple formats — such as video, written content, FAQs, internal announcements, and training materials — while supporting Customer Enablement teams when needed.
- Publish and maintain enablement assets across the appropriate channels, ensuring consistency in naming, versioning, and distribution.
- Create complementary materials such as one-pagers, FAQs, quick guides, walkthroughs, GIFs, lightweight decks, and internal reference content.
- Support internal communication around new feature launches, helping customer-facing teams understand feature value, ideal use cases, and main workflows.
- Collect feedback on asset consumption, clarity, and effectiveness to improve future launch enablement efforts.
- Manage a backlog of enablement assets by launch priority, impact, and release timing.
- Define and maintain quality standards for demos, screenshots, scripts, videos, and other feature-related materials.

- Measure the consumption and effectiveness of enablement assets to identify what drives understanding and adoption.
- Identify recurring knowledge gaps and suggest improvements to how product changes are communicated across the organization.
- Use tools such as Intercom and Arcade to set up in-product tours and guided product experiences that support feature adoption.
Requirements

- High attention to detail and commitment to content quality, consistency, and technical accuracy.
- Familiarity with Intercom or similar platforms for setting up product tours, in-app guidance, and feature adoption flows.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving product priorities.
- Self-starter with strong ownership and the ability to take projects from idea to final delivery with minimal oversight.
