Career & Market Insight

This is a junior entry point into CRM and marketing automation within the iGaming/online gaming sector — a niche but high-demand vertical. Here's what career-minded candidates should know:

  • Skills you'll build: Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM platforms like Bloomreach positions you well for mid-level CRM roles. Marketing automation, player lifecycle management, and retention analytics are increasingly sought-after skills across gaming, fintech, and e-commerce.
  • Compensation context: No salary is disclosed, which is a mild yellow flag. Junior CRM roles in Malta typically range €22,000–€32,000 annually. Remote junior CRM roles on global platforms can range higher ($35,000–$50,000 USD) depending on the client company's location and budget.
  • Career trajectory: The posting explicitly mentions growth into a "CRM Ops Specialist" — a defined path. High visibility with senior leadership and ground-floor ownership of a new function are genuine green flags for accelerated growth.
  • Culture signals: The emphasis on building "from scratch," high-growth language, and non-traditional career welcome suggests a startup or scale-up environment. This is ideal for those who thrive with autonomy but may feel underdeveloped for those who prefer structured mentorship programs.
  • Green flags: Strong DEI statement, emphasis on training and development, cross-functional exposure.
  • Red flags: No salary transparency, no mention of PTO or benefits, and the role is recruitment-agency-mediated (client undisclosed).

Best suited for recent graduates or career-changers with a tech-curious mindset looking to establish a foothold in CRM within the gaming industry.

  • Strong Communication: An effective communicator who can work independently while collaborating across different departments.
  • Proactive Mentality: A self-starter attitude with a drive to identify opportunities for improvement and make a real impact in a high-growth environment.
