Career & Market Insight

This role sits at the intersection of e-commerce, brand protection, and compliance — a niche that is growing rapidly as brands struggle to police unauthorized sellers on platforms like Amazon, Temu, and AliExpress. Experience gained here is highly transferable to roles in brand management, channel strategy, IP enforcement, and marketplace operations.

Skills developed:

  • Marketplace intelligence and seller research (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.)
  • Data analysis and reporting with Excel and dashboard tools
  • Familiarity with MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies and distribution compliance
  • Evidence collection and documentation for compliance/legal use cases
  • Exposure to tools like Helium 10, PROWL, and Salesforce

Market context: Brand protection analysts in the Philippines typically earn PHP 35,000–70,000/month depending on experience. Since no salary is disclosed here, candidates should negotiate based on their 3+ years of experience.

Green flags: The role offers genuine niche specialization in a growing field, a structured interview process with transparent feedback, and a global client (pool tech industry) providing cross-market exposure across North America and Europe.

Potential red flags: The EST schedule from the Philippines is a night-shift arrangement, which can affect long-term work-life balance. Additionally, the role is heavily process-driven (SOPs, daily reporting), which may limit creative growth for some professionals. Best suited for detail-oriented analysts who enjoy investigative, research-heavy work.

Position Type: Full-time
