Recruiting Coordinator at Signifyd - Entry-Level HR in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
This is a short-term contract role (3–4 months) best suited for early-career HR/recruiting professionals or recent graduates looking to build foundational experience at a well-funded fintech company. Signifyd processes billions of transactions and serves thousands of merchants globally, giving it a recognizable brand for your resume.
Compensation context: At $25/hr, this equates to roughly $4,000–$4,330/month full-time — on the lower end for tech recruiting coordinators in the US, where market rates typically range from $22–$35/hr for contract roles. It's entry-level but fair for a no-experience-required position open to new grads.
Skills you'll develop:
- ATS management and candidate pipeline coordination — highly transferable across industries
- LinkedIn sourcing and talent prospecting — increasingly valued as companies reduce agency spend
- HR analytics and reporting using Google Sheets/Excel
- Compliance and digital records management
Green flags: The posting explicitly welcomes new grads, signals genuine mentorship potential, and offers exposure to both recruiting and HR operations — a rare dual-track early-career opportunity.
Watch-outs: This is a contract-only role with no mention of conversion to full-time, benefits, or PTO. Treat it as a résumé-building sprint rather than a long-term career move. It's ideal as a stepping stone toward a full-cycle recruiting or HR generalist role at a tech company.
