Senior Product Owner – Salesforce & HCM Growth Role in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Career Positioning: Senior Product Owner roles focused on Salesforce Service Cloud and internal enterprise tooling sit at a growing intersection of CRM platform expertise and product management. Salesforce skills are consistently among the top 10 most in-demand enterprise tech competencies, making this a strong résumé builder for future Head of Product or VP Product roles in the SaaS/HCM space.
Compensation Context: No salary range is published, but market benchmarks for Senior Product Owner roles at established SaaS companies in the US typically fall between $130,000–$175,000 base, plus bonus. Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) is a mature, publicly traded company — expect solid but not hyper-growth startup-level equity. Stability and benefits likely compensate.
Work-Life Balance Signals:
- Green flag: Fully remote, comprehensive wellness programs, generous PTO described.
- Neutral: "High-pressure, fluid situations" and sprint management ownership suggest a fast-paced delivery culture.
- Green flag: "Act independently with little direction" indicates autonomy and trust at the senior level.
Skills You'll Develop: Salesforce ecosystem depth (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Certinia), stakeholder management at the executive level, roadmap ownership, and KPI-driven product thinking — all highly transferable to Director-level roles in enterprise SaaS.
Company Stage: Dayforce is a large-scale, globally operating HCM company. This is an enterprise product role, not a scrappy startup. Expect established processes, cross-functional dependencies, and meaningful scope — ideal for mid-to-senior career professionals seeking stability and scale over equity moonshots.
