Career & Market Insight

Role Level & Market Fit: A Monetization Artist with 3+ years in game UI sits at a mid-to-senior level in the mobile gaming industry. This niche sits at the intersection of UI design and conversion optimization — a highly marketable skillset as mobile game revenues continue to rely heavily on in-app purchases.

Skills You'll Build:

  • Data-driven design via A/B testing — directly ties design decisions to business KPIs
  • LiveOps event design — a fast-growing discipline in mobile gaming
  • Monetization UX — increasingly valued at any company with a freemium model
  • Figma + AI creative tooling — future-proof skills in the current design landscape

Company Signals: Moon Active is the studio behind Coin Master, one of the highest-grossing mobile games globally. This is a large, financially strong studio — not a startup — meaning stability, but also potentially more process-driven workflows. The "fastest-growing" framing suggests continued investment in new features and products.

Green Flags: Cross-functional exposure (UX, engineering, product), ownership of the full visual pipeline, and direct impact on revenue metrics make this a strong portfolio-building role. Monetization UI expertise is transferable to adtech, e-commerce, and any conversion-focused product team.

Watch For: No salary range is disclosed, which makes benchmarking difficult. For a mid-senior game UI role in Europe, market rates typically range €45,000–75,000 annually — negotiate accordingly.

Moon Active is one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment to millions of active users across the universe.

We're looking for a Monetization Artist star for its top-notch, industry-leading product.
