Career & Market Insight

This Instructional Multimedia Designer role sits within a lean, 13-person Education team inside Customer Success — a high-visibility position with cross-functional exposure to product, instructional design, and LMS platform management (Docebo, Gainsight). It's a strong fit for creatives who want to move beyond pure graphic design into learning experience design.

Compensation context: MXN 457,200–600,000/year is roughly USD 27,000–35,000, which is competitive within the Mexican SaaS/tech market but well below US or European benchmarks for equivalent roles. For a Mexico-based professional, this is a solid offer from a globally recognized SaaS company.

Skills this role develops — all in high demand:

  • AI-augmented content production (ElevenLabs, Claude, generative workflows)
  • Learning Experience Design (LXD) and instructional multimedia
  • Figma at a systems-design level (scalable design systems)
  • Video production: Camtasia, Vyond, motion graphics
  • LMS platform management (Docebo, Gainsight)

Green flags: Clear 3/6/12-month success milestones signal a structured onboarding culture. Exposure to AI-enabled workflows is a future-proof skill differentiator. The global client roster (T-Mobile, Stryker, Moody's) adds strong resume credibility.

Watch for: The team size (13 people) means you'll wear multiple hats. The role explicitly excludes marketing — career switchers from agency/marketing design backgrounds should be prepared for a learning curve in instructional theory.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and feedback-integration skills with the ability to explain design decisions and iterate effectively
  • Experience with tools such as Camtasia, Vyond, Articulate Storyline/Rise, ElevenLabs, Claude, or similar multimedia and learning technologies
