Career & Market Insight

This role offers excellent entry into the gaming localization industry with only 1 year of experience required. Side's global presence (20 studios, 14 countries) provides strong career advancement opportunities within a specialized, high-growth sector.

The position develops highly transferable skills in project management, stakeholder coordination, and CAT tools proficiency - all in-demand capabilities in the expanding localization market. Experience with gaming localization is particularly valuable as the global gaming market continues growing.

Work-life balance signals are mixed: while fully remote with dedicated well-being programs and inclusive culture, the fixed 8.5-hour schedule (13:00-21:30) may impact evening personal time. The "uncertain term contract" suggests potential instability, though this is common in project-based roles.

Without salary information, it's difficult to assess compensation competitiveness. However, gaming localization roles typically offer above-average pay compared to general translation work, and Portugal's lower cost of living can stretch earnings further.

Career progression opportunities appear strong with mentions of training, advancement, and potential Project Manager coverage responsibilities.
