Career & Market Insight

Role & Market Context: Talent sourcing is one of the fastest-growing specializations within HR and recruitment. A Sourcer role at a global hospitality brand like Royal Caribbean Group offers solid exposure to high-volume, international talent acquisition — a genuinely differentiated experience compared to standard corporate recruiting roles.

Compensation: No salary is listed, which is a minor red flag for transparency. Market rates for a Sourcer with 2+ years of experience in the Bahamas or Caribbean region are harder to benchmark than US/EU markets, but globally, mid-level sourcers typically earn $45,000–$70,000 USD annually. Candidates should negotiate with this range in mind and clarify relocation support if moving to Nassau.

Skills You'll Build:

  • Advanced Boolean search and multi-platform sourcing (LinkedIn, niche job boards, ATS/CRM tools)
  • Talent pipeline strategy and competitive intelligence
  • Recruitment marketing — increasingly in-demand as employer branding grows
  • Smartsheet and HRIS system proficiency

Green Flags: Royal Caribbean is a recognized global brand with real career mobility across departments and geographies. The Private Destinations vertical is a growing segment, meaning this role is likely to expand in scope.

Watch-outs: This is an entry-to-mid level role with no mention of team size or growth trajectory. Candidates should ask about internal promotion timelines and whether the role transitions into full-cycle recruiting over time. The office-only, Nassau-based structure limits flexibility for those prioritizing work-life balance or remote options.
