Career & Market Insight

This CloudOps Engineer (Network focus) role at Wrike is a strong mid-to-senior level infrastructure position with genuine breadth. The tech stack — Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, GCP, AWS, Cloudflare, Juniper/Cisco — represents the modern enterprise infrastructure toolkit and is highly marketable across cloud-native companies globally.

Compensation: No salary is listed, which is a mild yellow flag. For a senior CloudOps/Network Engineer role in Cyprus or Prague, market rates typically range €55,000–€90,000 annually depending on experience and hub location. Benchmark accordingly during negotiation.

Career development signals:

  • Ownership of network infrastructure lifecycle across hybrid cloud environments is a high-visibility, high-impact scope — great for building an architectural portfolio.
  • Hands-on BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and IPsec experience combined with cloud IaC is a rare and valuable combination, positioning you for Network Architect or Principal Engineer roles.
  • On-call duties are a real work-life balance cost — factor this in carefully, especially as the team spans multiple timezones.

Culture signals: Wrike (~1,000+ employees, Citrix/Vista Equity-backed) is a mature scale-up, not an early-stage startup. Expect structured processes (Scrum, OKRs), established team norms, and moderate but not hyper-growth pace. The SysOps department of ~24 people across 4 teams suggests manageable team size with room for mentorship and collaboration.

Green flags: Clear reporting structure, named manager, transparent interview process, and generous 25-day PTO. Watch for: hybrid in-office expectations may limit flexibility more than the "remote" label suggests.

Headquarters: Cyprus - Remote

Wrike is the most powerful work management platform. Built for teams and organizations looking to collaborate, create, and exceed every day, Wrike brings everyone and all work into a single place to remove complexity, increase productivity, and free people up to focus on their most purposeful work.

Wrike is our people, not a place. As a distributed team, we own our growth, stay globally connected, and rely on the product we build to deliver impactful work alongside brilliant minds. You'll have real ownership over meaningful work, a global team that has your back, and the flexibility to do your best work your way. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
