Career & Market Insight

This is a Director-level role at a well-established cybersecurity/identity SaaS company serving Fortune 100 clients — a strong career signal. The $180K–$200K base plus variable bonus is competitive but on the lower end for Director of Partner/Channel Operations at enterprise SaaS companies, where market rates can reach $220K–$240K+ at comparable firms. The variable component could meaningfully close that gap.

Skills you'll develop and strengthen:

  • Enterprise partner ecosystem architecture (VARs, GSIs, ISVs, hyperscalers like AWS/Azure)
  • RevOps/Sales Ops integration at scale using Salesforce and PRM platforms
  • Attribution modeling and indirect channel forecasting — highly transferable, in-demand skills
  • Identity and access management (IAM) domain expertise, a fast-growing cybersecurity vertical

Green flags: Ping Identity serves more than half the Fortune 100, offering high-visibility enterprise experience. The company culture blends startup agility with enterprise scale — a rare combination. Cross-functional leadership scope (Finance, Product, Marketing, IT) broadens your executive presence and prepares you for VP-level roles.

Watch for: The role is broad (strategy + systems ownership + program management + enablement), which may require significant team-building. Clarify headcount and whether you'll be leading an existing team or building from scratch. The Colorado Equal Pay disclosure is a transparency positive, though candidates in high-cost markets (SF, NYC) should negotiate accordingly.
