Career & Market Insight

This is a senior-level, high-impact individual contributor role at one of the fastest-growing companies in the observability and telemetry space — a market experiencing significant tailwinds from AI infrastructure investment.

Compensation vs. market: The €97,400–€122,000 base range is competitive for a Senior Solutions/Sales Engineer in France, where market benchmarks typically sit between €80K–€110K for similar roles. The addition of sales commission (as a sales-adjacent role) meaningfully increases total compensation potential.

Skills developed here are highly marketable:

  • Partner/channel go-to-market strategy and technical enablement — increasingly valued at scale-up and enterprise software companies
  • Telemetry, observability, and SIEM expertise — among the hottest areas in enterprise IT and cybersecurity
  • Technical presales and MEDDPICC/solution selling methodologies — portable across SaaS companies at any stage
  • Multi-language, multi-country partner management across Southern Europe — rare and strategically valuable

Culture signals: Cribl is a well-funded, high-growth private company (Series D, valued at ~$3B+) with a strong remote-first culture and a reputation for engineering excellence. The "herd" language and emphasis on bringing your whole self suggest a relatively flat, informal culture.

Green flags: Clear ownership of a region, direct path to influencing partner revenue, equity participation, and a product with strong Fortune 100 penetration. Watch for: 40% travel expectation is substantial and can impact work-life balance over time.

Join the company that's building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. At Cribl, we partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world's biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents, so they can build what's next.

We're one of the fastest-growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast-moving market. With a global workforce, we're remote-first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Cribl is the place where curious, collaborative people can do their best work, grow fast, and bring their full selves to the herd.
