Career & Market Insight

Compensation Context: A flat $170,000 base with a 10% performance bonus (up to $187,000 total) is competitive for a senior Growth PM in the B2B SaaS/data space, though it sits at the lower end of top-tier NYC market rates (typically $180K–$230K for comparable roles). For remote workers outside major metros, this is strong compensation.

Career Growth Signals: This is a high-ownership role building a growth function from the ground up for a unicorn-stage company ($1B+ valuation). That kind of greenfield scope—owning SEO/AEO, PLG funnels, pricing experiments, and lifecycle comms simultaneously—is rare and accelerates career development significantly.

Skills You'll Build:

  • Product-led growth (PLG) strategy—one of the most in-demand PM specializations in 2024–2025
  • AI-era SEO/AEO optimization, a rapidly evolving and highly marketable skill
  • B2B SaaS funnel analytics, experimentation design, and conversion optimization
  • Cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, marketing, and sales

Company Stage & Culture: YipitData is post-Series growth (Carlyle-backed, $475M raised) but still carries a startup culture with merit-based advancement. This is a green flag for PMs who want real impact without the bureaucracy of enterprise, but with the stability of a scaled business.

Watch Out For: The "not a place for coasting" framing and emphasis on velocity can signal a high-pressure environment. "Flexible vacation" without explicit minimums can sometimes mean less time off in practice. Clarify PTO norms in the interview process.

Growth Product Manager

About This Role

We're hiring a Growth Product Manager to build a product-led growth motion for YipitAgent, our company's latest flagship product.

You'll own the customer journey from first impression through paid conversion: how prospects discover YipitAgent, understand its value, start a trial, become deeply engaged, and convert into paying customers. Your work may span our SEO/AEO strategy, trial UX, in-product engagement, lifecycle communications, and pricing/packaging. You'll collaborate closely with core product, design, engineering, data, marketing, and customer-facing teams.

What Success Looks Like

  • Organic inbounds become our primary channel for new customer acquisition.
  • More visitors start trials and reach meaningful value quickly.
  • Trialists engage deeply and consistently throughout their trials.
  • More trialists convert into paying customers.
  • Measurable increases in active users per account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize our SEO/AEO by leveraging our proprietary data and the latest technologies & tactics.
  • Own and improve the growth funnel from acquisition through trial activation, engagement, conversion, and re-engagement.
  • Define and measure clear goals and success metrics for each stage of the customer journey.
  • Discover 'aha' moments through interviews, behavioral data, funnel analysis, and experimentation, and incorporate those moments into the UX appropriately.
  • Design and optimize trial onboarding, in-product education, activation moments, and upgrade experiences.
  • Develop engagement and re-engagement tactics, including proactive and personalized lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Incorporate growth tactics into the core product experience so engagement reinforces itself and spreads to other users.
  • Explore and test pricing, packaging, and trial structures that improve conversion while preserving customer trust.
  • Partner with designers and engineers to prototype, launch, measure, and iterate on new experiences.
  • Build a disciplined experimentation practice that balances rapid learning with a coherent customer experience.
  • Communicate insights, priorities, results, and tradeoffs clearly across the company.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of growth product management, product marketing, or similarly relevant experience.
  • A track record of improving acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, or conversion.
  • Strong product and UX judgment, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into intuitive experiences.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with funnel metrics, cohorts, experiments, and behavioral data.
  • Strong customer discovery skills and the ability to combine qualitative insight with quantitative evidence.
  • Experience with product-led growth, self-serve trials, or B2B SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with SEO/AEO, lifecycle communications, and pricing or packaging experimentation.
  • Comfortable moving between strategy and execution—from defining the growth model to reviewing a trial screen or drafting an email.
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator across design, engineering, data, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams.
