Graphic Designer at Instructure - SaaS Brand & Campaigns in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
This graphic designer role at Instructure sits at the intersection of brand identity, multi-channel marketing, and edtech — a meaningful niche. With 30+ million users globally, your work will have real scale and visibility, which is a strong portfolio differentiator.
Compensation: No salary is stated, but for a mid-to-senior designer role (3–5+ years) at a US-headquartered SaaS company hiring in the Philippines, market rates typically range from PHP 60,000–120,000/month depending on seniority. Research Instructure's Glassdoor profile and compare against local SaaS benchmarks.
Skills You'll Develop:
- Brand systems management across a complex product ecosystem
- WCAG accessibility in digital design — increasingly demanded in enterprise SaaS
- AI design tool integration — a future-proof, high-demand skill set
- Campaign asset production at global scale
- Figma and Canva proficiency alongside Adobe CC — covers the full modern designer toolkit
Green Flags: The ownership program (equity/profit-sharing), tuition reimbursement, and wellness support indicate a mature company investing in employees. Instructure is a publicly traded edtech company (INST), suggesting stability over early-stage risk.
Potential Considerations: The role involves a high-volume ticket queue, which can lean toward execution-heavy work rather than conceptual creativity. Candidates who prefer strategic design leadership should clarify growth paths into senior or art director roles during interviews.

What you'll need (requirements):
- Experience: 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience (SaaS experience is a major plus).
- Technical mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Basic animation skills and proficiency in Canva and Figma are highly preferred.
- AI curiosity: A willingness to explore and experiment with a range of AI tools.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean aesthetic and the ability to simplify complex information into a digestible flow.
- Accessibility first: A deep understanding of WCAG accessibility standards as they apply to color contrast and digital design.
