Senior UX Research Analyst at Veeam | $257K TTC + Growth in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Strong Career Opportunity for Mid-to-Senior UX/Analytics Professionals: This role is pitched at a senior individual contributor level — owning research strategy, influencing executives, and building scalable frameworks. It's an excellent accelerator for researchers looking to move from execution to strategy without moving into people management.
Compensation vs. Market: The Zone 3/4 ranges ($128K–$215K TTC) are above median for Senior UX Researchers in non-coastal markets (Glassdoor median ~$115K–$140K for comparable roles). Zone 1 pay ($154K–$257K) is competitive even for San Francisco. The performance bonus component adds meaningful upside.
Skills You'll Develop:
- Enterprise-scale experimentation (A/B, multivariate) using Adobe Target — high-demand in B2B SaaS
- Executive data storytelling — a differentiating skill that accelerates promotion timelines
- Mixed-methods research leadership — rare combination of qual depth and quant rigor
- AI-assisted research workflows — a rapidly growing skill set across the industry
Green Flags: Veeam is a mature, profitable company (550,000+ customers, 30+ country presence) — low layoff risk compared to early-stage startups. The role offers significant autonomy and cross-functional influence, which are hallmarks of high-growth IC roles.
Watch For: "Matrixed organization" can mean slower decision cycles. Researchers sometimes struggle with impact visibility in large enterprises — the emphasis on executive storytelling here suggests Veeam is actively trying to solve this, which is a positive signal.

About the Role
Veeam is looking for a Senior Digital Experience Research Analyst to shape how millions of technology decision-makers experience us online. Sitting at the intersection of research, analytics, and digital strategy, you will own the full research lifecycle — from early discovery and user interviews through experimentation, measurement, and optimization — building the evidence base behind decisions across our global web presence.
This is a role about bringing data to life: turning behavioral signals, test results, and user voices into narratives that move executives to act. You will work with significant autonomy, influence strategy at the executive level, and partner across marketing, corporate technology, and creative services to make sure every digital experience is built on insight rather than assumption.
What You'll Do
- Define and own the user research strategy and roadmap, scaling research frameworks, standards, and best practices across teams
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including user testing, interviews, surveys, competitive benchmarking, and expert reviews
- Analyze behavioral data and user feedback to uncover insights, friction points, and opportunities that shape product and design decisions
- Define and evolve the web measurement strategy, monitoring user behavior and performance and reporting through dashboards and executive presentations
- Own the experimentation program, including A/B and multivariate testing, partnering with design, product, and development teams to validate hypotheses and improve conversion and engagement
- Craft data stories that pair quantitative evidence with user voices, setting the bar for how insight is visualized and presented
- Build and maintain scalable research documentation and insight repositories so findings stay accessible and reusable across teams
Technologies You'll Work With
- Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics
- Adobe Target for personalization and testing
- UserTesting for qualitative research
- Microsoft Clarity for scroll maps, heatmaps, and session recordings
- Survey and interview tools
What You'll Bring
- Four or more years of experience, or equivalent skill, in user research, digital experience, conversion optimization, or a related field
- Proven experience defining and leading research strategy and programs
- Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics, and with Adobe Target for personalization and testing
- Demonstrated data storytelling ability, with examples of readouts that changed a decision
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and familiarity with accessibility standards
- Highly analytical and strategic, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across a matrixed organization
Bonus Skills
- Experience with large-scale websites or digital platforms, particularly business-to-business
- Experience with qualitative research and behavior tools such as UserTesting, Microsoft Clarity, and Hotjar
- Experience applying AI tools across the research lifecycle, such as synthesizing interview transcripts, clustering open-ended feedback, spotting patterns in behavioral data, or accelerating analysis and reporting
- Experience building a research practice or insight repository from the ground up
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple competing priorities
What You'll Get
- Unlimited paid time off, 12 paid holidays including 4 global VeeaMe Days for self-care, and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares
- Paid parental leave: 8 weeks for all parents, 16 weeks for birthing parents
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on your first day
- Mental health support, therapy sessions, and digital wellness tools via our Employee Assistance Program
- 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
- Fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support through Maven, plus paid volunteer time
- AirVet: 24/7 virtual veterinary care at no cost
- Legal services, identity protection, and supplemental health insurance options
- Tax-advantaged spending accounts for healthcare, dependent care, and commuting
- Opportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O'Reilly), mentoring, workshops, and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning
