CSM Role in ESG SaaS - Grow Your Sustainability Career in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Work-Life Balance Signals: Worldly offers strong indicators of a healthy remote culture — unlimited PTO, no-meeting Fridays, and explicit encouragement to "explore and rest." The caveat is the requirement for early/late hour flexibility, which signals this isn't a fully self-directed schedule role. Client-facing Customer Success roles often involve reactive demands.
Compensation vs. Market: The $65,000–$85,000 USD range sits slightly below mid-market for a CSM with 3–5 years of experience in SaaS in Western Europe, where comparable roles at sustainability tech companies typically range from €65,000–€95,000. However, the 10% performance bonus and stock options meaningfully close the gap, especially in a growth-stage company where equity may appreciate.
Skills You'll Develop:
- ESG/sustainability data expertise — one of the fastest-growing compliance domains globally (CSRD, EU taxonomy).
- Supply chain intelligence — deep domain knowledge in fashion and consumer goods supply chains.
- Scalable CS operations — portfolio management, playbook design, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Company Signals: Worldly is a mission-driven, growth-stage SaaS company (public benefit corporation) with 40,000+ brand clients — indicating significant scale. The role reports to an EMEA lead, suggesting a maturing regional structure. Green flag: strong sustainability sector tailwinds with EU regulatory pressure driving demand. Watch: USD-denominated salary for European hires creates FX risk as currency rates fluctuate.
Location: Remote — Europe, United Kingdom
