Senior Sales Analyst at Angi | $100K–$150K + Growth in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Compensation vs. Market: The $100K–$150K range for a Senior Analyst with 6+ years of experience is competitive but on the mid-to-lower end for senior data/analytics roles at major tech-adjacent companies. In top-tier markets like NYC or SF, comparable roles often reach $160K–$200K. This range is more aligned with mid-market or Midwest-based tech companies, though the note about cost-of-living adjustments suggests flexibility.
Skills You'll Build: This role offers a rare blend of analytics and compensation strategy — a highly transferable combination. Key skills developed include:
- Sales commission plan design and optimization (high demand in Revenue Operations)
- Predictive modeling and workforce/headcount planning
- Advanced SQL, Python/R, and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- AI-augmented analytics workflows — an emerging and marketable skill set
Career Trajectory: This role positions you well for Director of Sales Analytics, Head of Revenue Operations, or VP of Strategy roles. The exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders accelerates visibility and advancement.
Culture Signals: Angi is a 30-year-old, established marketplace brand — expect a more structured, process-driven environment than an early-stage startup. The flexible vacation policy is a green flag, though the fast-paced descriptor warrants attention around workload expectations.
Green Flag: The mentoring component and strategic scope (not just reporting) suggest this is a genuinely senior IC role with real influence, not a data-entry-with-a-fancy-title position.
