Career & Market Insight

This is a mid-to-senior level management role in Clinical Data Management (CDM) at a specialized eClinical technology company. It blends hands-on data operations with team leadership and client-facing responsibilities — a strong position for professionals looking to grow from individual contributor into management.

Compensation Context: No salary is listed. Market benchmarks for a Clinical Data Management Manager in the U.S. typically range from $90,000–$130,000/year depending on experience and location. EDETEK's size and CRO/eClinical niche may place compensation toward the lower-mid end of this range; candidates should negotiate based on EDC and SAS expertise.

Skills You'll Build:

  • End-to-end data management lifecycle ownership (highly transferable to pharma/biotech/CRO sectors)
  • EDC system design and UAT leadership — growing demand as clinical trials digitize
  • SAS programming knowledge in a clinical context (CDISC/SDTM familiarity likely adjacent)
  • Cross-functional client management and team leadership

Green Flags: Fully remote, exposure to proprietary eClinical platform (CONFORM), and the chance to lead hiring and mentoring — solid resume builders.

Yellow Flags: No salary transparency, 5% travel including potential weekends, and the role requires only 2 years of experience for a "Manager" title — which could indicate a smaller team or limited upward mobility. Candidates should probe for team size, growth trajectory, and promotion pathways during interviews.
