Career & Market Insight

This is a senior individual contributor or lead-level product marketing role requiring 10+ years of experience, placing it at the Senior Manager or Principal PMM tier at most companies. At Siemens — a Fortune Global 500 company — the title "Marketing Manager" can be deceptively modest; the scope (B2B + B2C, go-to-market strategy, KPI ownership) signals meaningful seniority.

Compensation context: The $105K–$181K range (plus 10% incentive) is competitive for senior product marketing in the US, though it lags behind Big Tech PMM roles at comparable experience levels, which often reach $200K–$250K total comp. For industrial tech / enterprise software, however, this range is at or above market.

Skills you'll develop:

  • B2B and B2C dual-audience marketing — a rare and highly transferable skill set
  • Go-to-market strategy for complex technology products in Smart Infrastructure
  • Agile marketing practices and cross-functional leadership at enterprise scale
  • Data-driven campaign optimization and KPI ownership

Green flags: Siemens' global brand, stable enterprise environment, and emphasis on DEI suggest a structured, supportive culture. The role sits within the Smart Infrastructure division — a high-growth segment tied to energy transition and smart buildings.

Yellow flags: Large corporate environments can mean slower career progression and more bureaucracy than startups. The "Mid-level Professional" label in a role requiring 10+ years experience may reflect title compression common in large corporations — worth clarifying in the interview.
