Career & Market Insight

This role sits at a rare and valuable intersection: clinical expertise + B2B field sales. Candidates with a Master's in School Psychology or Special Education who have transitioned into sales are a thin talent pool, which gives qualified applicants strong negotiating leverage.

Compensation context: The $85K–$105K base plus bonus is competitive for ed-tech field sales at this level, though slightly below enterprise SaaS AE benchmarks. The bonus structure could push total compensation meaningfully higher — candidates should ask about OTE (On-Target Earnings) in interviews.

Skills this role develops:

  • Consultative and value-based selling to public sector (school districts) — highly transferable to healthcare and govtech sales
  • CRM pipeline discipline (HubSpot) and accurate forecasting — foundational for senior sales roles
  • Subject matter expertise in psychoeducational assessment — rare and marketable
  • Territory management and strategic account planning

Green flags: 33 days of PTO, structured onboarding (30/60/90 days), coaching culture with manager-attended calls, and tuition reimbursement signal investment in employee development. The "Focus Wednesdays" and flexible arrangements suggest some work-life balance awareness.

Watch for: Field sales roles can blur work-life boundaries — weekend conference travel is mentioned. Clarify the bonus structure and quota expectations before accepting. The high-visibility territory note suggests performance scrutiny is real.

Long-term, this role positions you well for a Regional Director or VP of Sales path in ed-tech or clinical assessment markets.

The Opportunity

As a Regional Partnership Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding opportunity for all learners. Riverside Insights' Clinical business is where school psychologists, special educators, and evaluation teams turn for the tools behind every special education evaluation, and you will be the face of that business in the field. You will lead strategic sales efforts across an assigned territory, with a focus on selling Riverside Clinical products through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.

By building strong relationships with key partners and developing strategic sales plans, you will contribute directly to our mission of growing the potential in every student. Because our Clinical customers are practitioners, you will also act as a subject matter expert for the products you represent. Credibility with clinicians matters as much as selling skill.

This is a field-based role with real ownership, and you will be out visiting customers and attending conferences across your region. It is a high-visibility territory where results are noticed. You will work within a disciplined sales rhythm built on proactive renewal planning, accurate pipeline and forecasting, and regular coaching. We are looking for someone with urgency, curiosity about the customer, and a genuine drive to keep learning.

Applicants must be based in territory to be considered for this position.
