NetSuite ERP Manager Role | $144K–$173K + RSUs in Columbus
Career & Market Insight
Compensation vs. Market: The $144,000–$173,000 base range for a NetSuite Systems Manager is competitive and sits at or above the 75th percentile for this role in the US market, where similar positions typically range from $110,000–$155,000. The addition of RSUs meaningfully increases total compensation, particularly valuable given Grafana Labs' high-profile VC backing (Sequoia, Lightspeed) and growth trajectory.
Skills This Role Builds: This position deepens high-demand expertise in:
- NetSuite ERP administration, ARM, and CPQ integrations — skills that command premium salaries across SaaS and tech-finance sectors.
- SOX/ITGC compliance — critical for finance systems roles at any public-company-track startup.
- Salesforce/SFDC integration — a near-universal requirement in SaaS finance stacks.
- Order-to-cash process automation — increasingly sought-after as companies scale revenue operations.
Culture & Work-Life Signals: 30 days annual leave globally plus 3 company-wide shutdown days is well above US norms (typically 15–20 days PTO). The explicit "Balance is Key" language and remote-first culture suggest a mature remote environment, not a startup that just added a WFH policy.
Green Flags: Individual contributor role with direct exposure to the Sr. Director — good visibility. Cross-functional scope (Sales, Legal, Engineering, Finance) builds broad business acumen beyond pure technical administration.
Watch Out For: This is an IC role at a fast-scaling company, which can mean rapid scope expansion. Clarify headcount growth plans and whether a team will be built under this role over time.
