Everyday Totepack 20L, Black
The Everyday Totepack brings together the sleek look of an old-school tote, with the carry convenience of an everyday backpack. We love the dual side access pockets for grabbing your camera, water bottle, or charging cables while walking or biking in the go. Three durable FlexFold dividers allowed us to pack an Olympus OM2 with a 50mm lens attached, a Patagonina rain shell, headphones, smaller essentials, and a harddrive no problem. Stretchy pockets on the interior are for smaller items, like batteries or SD cards, plus a protective 15” laptop sleeve on the rear of the back pocket with tablet sleeves. The exterior shell is made of 100% weatherproof 400D materials to keep everything safe in a downpour.
Our Review
Peak Design Everyday Totepack 20L — The Commuter Bag That Doubles as a Mobile Office
The gist: A structured, lightweight hybrid that protects a 15" laptop, reconfigures its interior for gear-free days, and stands upright on its own — built for remote workers moving between home, coworking spaces, and client sites.
- Laptop protection: Padded 15" sleeve accommodates a MacBook Pro 14" or 16" with room to spare, plus a second tablet sleeve rated up to 12.9".
- Reconfigurable interior: Two included FlexFold dividers reshape the main compartment for gear-heavy or document-only loads without removing hardware.
- Self-standing shell: The rigid 400D nylon frame holds the bag upright on a desk, coworking table, or under an airline seat — no fumbling on the floor.
- All-day carry weight: At 2.31 lb without dividers, it is light enough for full-day city carry across multiple stops without shoulder fatigue.
Pack Hacker scored the Everyday Totepack 20L V2 at 7.9/10, highlighting its hybrid appeal while noting the FlexFold dividers showed early wear signs after brief testing.
Best for: Remote professionals, hybrid commuters, and freelancers who carry a laptop plus peripherals across multiple locations daily. Skip it if: You need quick, wide top access to the main compartment — the opening is reported tighter than it appears in marketing — or if you prefer a slim-profile bag, as the padded shell adds bulk when lightly packed.
