Boilers, furnaces, and kilns are the engines of our industrial economy, providing heat to melt steel, form cement, and transform chemicals. But historically, reaching this high-temperature heat required burning fossil fuels, making the industrial sector responsible for 25% of global greenhouse gas emissions. 


Electrified Thermal Solutions has a simple and massive goal: to electrify industry.  

 

To do this, we are building the Joule Hive™ thermal battery: an energy storage technology that converts and stores cheap, renewable electricity as high-temperature heat. Our vision is to mitigate gigatons of CO2 emissions per year by deploying the Joule Hive™ at every industrial furnace, turbine, boiler, and kiln. 


About the Role  

Electrified Thermal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to drive sales in the French market.This. A critical role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and building strong, lasting relationships across targeted industrial segments. The successful candidate will have a track record of exceeding sales targets and the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to a diverse customer set.The. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a start-up/high growth environment and bring a flexible, positive attitude as they “do what it takes” to drive commercial success. Candidates with experience selling equipment and/or project development experience for energy savings contracts/energy performance contracts to industrial segments will be given preference. The role will report to the Head of Sales and will be remote.  



What you'll do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with industrial customers and/or energy savings contract project developers. 
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expansion. 
  • Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales and providing regular updates to the Head of Sales. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product development. 
  • Understand customer technical requirements and effectively communicate Electrified Thermal’s value proposition. 
  • Represent Electrified Thermal at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. 
  • Negotiate complex contracts and agreements. 
  • Collaborate with the finance team to nurture and maintain successful relationships with HaaS financing partners.  
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new business opportunities. 
  • Travel: up to 60% 


What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree. An engineering degree and/or an MBA are a plus. 
  • 5+ years of progressive industrial and/or project development business-to-business sales experience.  
  • Experience using CRMs to fully manage and report on forecasting and performance.  
  • Experience in industrial equipment sales or energy savings contract project development preferred. 
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas in a complex sales environment. 
  • Experience and knowledge of industrial heating equipment, industrial heat processes preferred.  
  • Experience and knowledge of natural gas and electricity markets preferred.  
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels. 
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
