Low ISO B&W - 35mm Film
Film Photography Project Low ISO B&W is Kodak fine-grain low ISO 35mm film. When using in your 35mm camera this film will produce a film negative and produce very fine grain. This blue-sensitive B&W film has very high resolution and incorporates a yellow dye, which is removed during processing, to provide very high sharpness.

The gist: An ISO 6 specialty film that rewards careful metering with exceptionally sharp, fine-grain results — a good technical exercise for a photographer sharpening their craft outside a day job.
- ISO 6, 24 exposures: a slow, Kodak-based fine-grain stock with a yellow dye removed in processing for extremely high sharpness.
- Blue-sensitive: requires daylight or flash — avoid indoor tungsten light and yellow filters, per the manufacturer’s shooting guidance.
- Non-DX coded: needs manual ISO 6 metering on your camera, or a handheld light meter.
- No-meter fallback: the maker suggests 1/60 sec at f/4 (or 1/125 at f/2.8) in direct sunlight if metering isn’t possible.
Per the manufacturer’s own product listing at Film Photography Project’s store, the stock is built for “ultra-fine grain” and “extremely high sharpness,” developed in FPP D96 or Kodak Xtol.
