Anamorphic 1.33x Mobile Lens | M-Series, Gold Flare

$25

The 1.33x Anamorphic is an attachable phone lens that mounts over your main camera to give your videos a classic 2.40:1 widescreen, cinematic look. It’s our most iconic filmmaking lens, adding real horizontal flares, a wider field of view, and the signature Moment character you can’t get from a phone filter.

Use it for short films, travel videos, music videos, car shots, city nights, and anything you want to feel more cinematic. Instead of cropping your footage into a fake letterbox, the 1.33x uses real glass to capture a wider image with beautiful depth, natural compression, and that classic anamorphic feel.

Choose Gold Flare for warmer, richer flares inspired by vintage cinema glass. Choose Blue Flare for brighter, cooler sci-fi-style streaks.

Compatibility Note : Our M-Series lenses were built beautifully for the iPhone 13 and older models. If you’re using a newer iPhone, you’ll want to jump over to our T-Series lenses instead. The upgraded, larger camera sensors on modern phones need a wider piece of glass and a bigger bayonet mount to perform their best without vignetting.

Our Review

Moment Anamorphic 1.33x — a cheap upgrade for your video portfolio

The gist: For anyone building a freelance video or content-creation side income, this $25 clip-on lens gets you noticeably more polished footage without a camera upgrade.

  • Portfolio-grade look: real 1.33x anamorphic squeeze and glass optics produce a widescreen, cinematic frame that reads as "professional" to clients scanning a reel.
  • Durable enough for regular gigs: aerospace-grade metal housing tested by reviewers in outdoor conditions with no scratching or wear, so it survives repeated shoots in a bag.
  • Low barrier to entry: twist-and-lock M-Series mount system is described as relatively easy to use, no separate rig needed to start shooting.
  • Requires a compatible setup: M-Series works with iPhone 13 and older via a Moment case and drop-in lens mount — factor that into your gear budget.

The Professional Gunfighter's hands-on review rated the lens ahead of other smartphone lenses on image quality, durability, and overall user experience.

Best for: career changers building a videography or content-creator side hustle who want cinematic B-roll without a full camera kit. Skip it if: your phone is newer than iPhone 13 (needs the T-Series lens) or you don't already own a Moment case. Runs ~$25 — check the current price before buying.
